How cool is this prize?? I think the bits I’d really look forward to visiting would be the gadgets section and the garden section as it’s something I’ve just started to get into

I love the show homes best of all, it’s a fab way to get ideas for my own home and normally things that are on trend and quite unique.

My favourite thing has to be the kitchen and homewares department. I love looking at all the beautiful retro kitchenware and sampling the sauces and snacks that some of the food companies have on offer xx

Ooooh where do I start? Well, in short I am no stranger to wasting time looking at things I can not afford so when it comes to the Ideal Home Show it’s safe to say I am in my ELEMENT! I’m pretty sure that my home to be (some day) is going to be filled with beautiful and amazing things that I have oogled in the kitchen and homewares section. Now, I have to wander off and dream about my wish list!

The best thing about the Ideal Home Show is that it inspires you so much, magazines and catalogues are great but if you want inspiration for something special and out of the norm then you will definitely find it there. Homeware and furnishings are my favourite

What I LOVE the most is how the Ideal Home Exhibition makes me feel – loving the Ideal improvement section, the Ideal beauty bar! Ideal food, gadgets and gardening. Have always been a fan, and study tohe floor plan religiously before I go. I am a bit of a home body at the moment, and planning on how I can make my old victorian flat more beautiful fils me with joy. It’s not just about that though, it’s about having a fun day out, with lots of inspiration from the expert guests there, a little wish fulfillment and a lot of SHOPPING! It’s always a great day, if you haven’t been before you should totally go.
As for why I love tea parties… you so don’t want to get me started… :)

The best part about the Ideal Home Show would be the Celebrity Chef Theatre! Not only can I outfit my kitchen (my new fav room in the house since I realised eating out was going to make me bankrupt!), I can learn to make good use of it too! ;)

It’s all about the gadgets – looking at and wanting to have more than what’s inside the coat of inspector gadget!

    …and the food!

What I really like is the little ideas… so many times it’s not even the actual items that are on sale/ show that catch my eye but some chic element of styling that I think maybe I could replicate at home. Of course, I never do, but it’s that wonderfully heady fantasy about how I _could_ be living if only I weren’t so lacking in style!

i love all those odd demonstrations of odd kitchen things. they always make them look indispensable! then when you get them home, they go in the bottom cupboard and remain there…my son loves the showhouse for some reason…probably cos it’s always much bigger than our bungalow…

Many thanks again for the tickets.
In the end I missed the tea party – my husband and I made a day of it and got to the show around midday. Unfortunately, I developed a real stonker of a headache in the afternoon, and had to head home.
Very disappointed to miss the party but thanks again for the tickets and hope everyone who attended had a good time!
