A Sushi experience

If there’s one good reason to visit YO! Sushi in Market place it has to be for the toilets.

One of only two places in London to have state of the art modern Japanese toilets – you have the pleasure of controlling your toilet and if you wish having a heated seat or massage as you do so!

After you’ve got over the excitement of the toilets you might actually want to sample the food.  And if you’ve never been before then you’re in for a treat.

The Market place YO! Sushi is located just off Oxford Steet in a cove of bars and other restaurants. Like all of their branches it has the modern bright decor which makes it so inviting.

Sit yourself down next to the conveyor belt and grab anything which takes your fancy – from fish sushi to dumplings.  We sampled the Prawn Katsu – crispy fried prawns in Japanese bread crumbs, the chicken dumpling, and the Californian and Yo roll – amongst lots of other tasty sushi dishes.

All the dishes come in colour coded bowls and relate to their prices – so you can either eat on a budget or splash the cash on some more extravagant sushi.

But if you don’t trust yourself to pick the right thing as it whisks past you on the belt grab one of the waiters and they’ll be happy to make you up anything you want from the menu.

And if you’re still hungry – like we were, try out there desserts. We munched on their rice cakes filled with dark chocolate ganache, green tea ice cream and even their chilli and mango ice cream – which is only for the brave.

And lastly – don’t forget to taste the cocktails that Market place YO! Sushi has on offer – we sipped on a tasty gin cocktail and felt very Sex and the City!
