St Georges Day at fish! Kitchen

Who wants an extra bank holiday? Yes, I thought so!

fish! Kitchen restaurant, who has branches in East Sheen, Kingston and Borough have decided that with their main dish being Britain’s traditional fish and chips, it is up to them to try and get St George’s Day to be a National Bank Holiday.

We Brits have stayed quiet long enough, with the Irish having St Patrick’s Day and the Scots having St Andrew’s day as a holiday, it is time for us to have one too! Visit any of the fish! Kitchen branches for delicious beer battered fish and chips, sumptuous seared scallops, swordfish club sandwiches or Tuna burgers, to name but a few, and sign the petition to get St George’s Day a National Bank Holiday.

fish! Kitchen need to have at least 500 signatures to then take the petition forward to 10 Downing Street, so get down there and show your support. Who knows, this time next year, we could be looking forward to an extra day off!
