Last Friday, at Ping Pong on Appold Street, a group of us met for cocktails and dim sum.
Nothing unusual about that I guess. Except that this group were strangers (in the real world at least…)
A fantastic group of us who talk on Twitter day in, day out, met up and had a whale of a time. Some of us had met before. Others were introduced for the first time. Nothing was awkward, no-one was weird…and it was all bloody marvellous actually!
I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Ping Pong – they looked after us brilliantly – we loved the food, drink and venue and certainly made the most of it! Also, a huge cheer for the lovely people at Boots and Mocks who provided some lovely treats for the goody bags…and also to Bachs for supplying us with Emotional Eating Kits – they didn’t arrive on time but I will be giving them out when we all meet next…
And of course…huge thanks to the great crowd of Tweeters who made the effort of coming along…it was amazing to put some faces to names and to see some of you again.
Let’s do it again soon!
At TLLWTL, we only write about venues, products and stuff we LOVE. Everything you see here is featured because we think you should know about it. This is true whether we’ve visited of our own accord, or been invited to review. If we don’t like it, we won’t mention it. Simple!
Please do feel free to add your comments or own reviews in the box below. If you choose to visit or try something we’ve written about, whether you agree, or disagree…we love to hear from you.
