Let’s have a TWEET UP!

I absolutely love Twitter, for all kinds of reasons.

There are the standard ones, like the fact it relieves boredom when you’re stuck in the house all day. There are the more corporate ones…like the ability to reach certain companies and get a response almost immediately. There are the blogging ones…it’s the best way to reach out to, and to find other bloggers and of course new readers…and then there’s my favourite reason…the wonderful people you get to talk to, day in and out. The people you begin to genuinely care about…who share darkness and light, funny and sad times, who have similar interests, different points of view and are all totally fascinating. You can reach out to a whole bunch of people you may never have met in the “real world”.

So every now and then it’s nice to have a tweet up and put lovely faces to those twitter names!

A few of us were chatting and thought that it would be lovely to arrange such an evening, so a plan has been put in place…and if you’re interested, here are the details;

Date: Friday, 5th February 2010 (not long after pay day, hope this helps!)

Venue: Ping Pong Restaurant, 3 Appold Street, London, EC2A 2AF

Time: From 6.30pm (if anyone wants to make it earlier let me know!)

Info: We have arranged the private room of Ping Pong so we will get a good chance to chat and have a giggle without disrupting other diners. It is totally up to you whether you nibble on some food, or whether you just want to sip on a cocktail or two! There will be some seating in the room, and everyone can order there own food/drinks from the bar. The gorgeous people at Ping Pong have also offered us a fab 15% discount on EVERYTHING on the night – Yay! There is a secret discount code that will be disclosed nearer the time  :)

Now, because we have the private room there is obviously limited space…so please let me know if you are planning on coming by commenting below (please include your twitter name). Looking forward to meeting some of you and seeing some of the lovely faces I’ve seen before!
