Hmmm. It’s another grey weekend in London. Brilliant.

Where the blinking hell is all the sunshine?!

If you need a bit of cheering up, and the chance to feel all warm and sunny inside, take a moment to check out Leap Anywhere.

It’s a fantastic organisation, who focus on bringing you simple, fun, easy ways for you to do something good for others. Nice concept huh?

London for LondonLeap came to my attention when I heard about the opportunity to volunteer for their “London for London” campaign. It’s a great idea…aiming to unite 
the 
capital 
by 
asking 
all the people that 
enjoy 
its 
clubs, 
bars 
and
 pubs 
to 
part 
with 
a measly 
pound 
to 
help 
combat 
anti-social 
behaviour
 amongst
 young
 people.

  No

 no 
special 
effort, 
no
 guilty
 conscience 
- the 
new 
charity 
hopes
 to
 mobilise
 1
 million 
donors 
by
 asking
 people
 to 
do
 what
 they 
do
 anyway,
 enjoy
 our
 great 
city’s
 nightlife!

The 
number

venues
 supporting
 the
 charity 
is 
forever
 growing,
 from
 major
 brands 
including 
Novus 
Leisure venues 
and
 the
 O’Neill’s pub
 chain, 
to
 clubs
 /
 busy 
bars
 including 
Cargo (Cantaloupe 
Group), 
Ministry
 of 
Sound, 
Match
bars (Match 
Bar
 Group)
 as 
well
 as
 some
 of
 London’s
 hottest
 style
 bars
 like 
Maddox,

Mist – and you can rest assured that every pound raised will go directly to the 3 organisations behind the project.

So, how can you get involved?

Leap are looking for 1000 volunteers to act as fundraisers at your favourite bar, club or pub. All you have to do is enjoy a night out at your usual hotspot, take a bucket and try to collect as much cash as you possibly can. Not too hard is it?!

    Little lady…its so hot in THIS part of London (South)seriously, I feel like sitting around the house in my knickers…its a good life. I saw the freerunners on the news and it looks like a real hoot!- The volunteering sounds great, what better way to hit people up for money than when they are tipsy??
