Bowling for Boobies…and hopefully already have bought your tickets. If not, this is one event you most definitely need to know more about!
Organised by the lovely Emma Murphy and Vincenza Megna to raise vital funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Avon’s Breast Cancer Charity, this brilliant event will see the All Star Bowling Lanes in Bloomsbury transformed into a true party venue for the night.
Along with team bowling, you’ll also be able to take part in Wii tournaments, scoff on delicious grub from the All Star buffet, drink yourself silly, win some fab prizes and throw some super shapes on the dance floor. There’ll be a great crowd so the atmosphere will be fantastic…and you’ll all be there with one collective aim; to have some fun while raising money for the most worthy cause. What more could you want from a night out?
Emma Murphy says: ‘Bowling for Boobies looks set to be a fantastic night. It’s a great opportunity for friends, family and colleagues to get together and have some fun whilst raising funds for the charity. This is a subject very close to our hearts. Both Vincenza and I have seen first-hand the devastating impact that this can illness can have, not just on the person affected, but on friends and family around them. We thought it would be a great opportunity for people to get together, have some fun, eat some great food and have a few glasses of wine whilst spreading a serious message that early detection saves lives’.
Reading extracts from her book ‘The C Word’ will be author and breast cancer survivor Lisa Lynch, who was diagnosed with at 28 and went on to blog about it at ‘Alright Tit’ which led to her book about her cancer experience.
