Relaunched: The Brickhouse

3 March 2010 No Comment

The Brickhouse has long been one of my favourite East London venues…it’s cool beyond belief and hosts some of the best events you can imagine.

So I’m pleased to announce that the bar, restaurant and Supperclub is open again after extensive refurbishment.

Set in the historic Old Truman Brewery just off Brick Lane, The Brickhouse has a total capacity of 300 and is split over three levels, designed to host live entertainment and performances, which can be seen from each floor. Risque and oversized artwork hangs throughout the venue, to remind guests of the engaging nature of the entertainment on offer.

The ground floor cocktail bar serves an extensive cocktail, wine and champagne list and there is also a heated outdoor terrace area on this level.

The middle mezzanine has booth style dining seating overlooking the ground floor and a mirrored wall, so that no aspect of the performance can be missed. A curtained off private dining space or ‘Royal Box’ overlooks the main floor, presiding regally over the entertainment below.

Full restaurant service and menus change on a fortnightly basis and are compiled by talented Head Chef, Matthew Reuter who has worked in several Michelin starred restaurants.

The Bed Bar on the top mezzanine is a chill out lounge area with beautiful beds adorned with cushions for guests to relax, socialize or dance on, plus a private cocktail bar .

I love this place. Hope you do too!
