Visit a Garden - 20 Hillcrest

This pretty hill garden has a terrace with ironwork gazebos, wide stone steps descending to an evergreen pergola, dappled sunlight and quiet water feature. Rose arches, a meandering path and lawn with shrub and tree borders lead to small alpine rockeries, a summerhouse, a miniature wildlife pond and little garden with fruit trees.

Spring bulbs, wild bluebells in early May. A haven for honey bees with masses of miniature geraniums and herbs intermingled. Forsythia hedge borders the terrace. Rose arches in June. Vegetables in large pots and planters into July onwards.

Aromatic Myrtle hedges align the steps. Rose arches and perennial borders from late May.

Bee hotels. Bird boxes/baths. Miniature wildlife pond with waterlilies.

A small garden area contain azaleas, cherry, apple, plum and pear trees and a wild area/water feature.
