Ladies…we have gone and found you another super product!
You may remember that earlier in the week we were raving about Per-fekt Skin, a gel formula that made our skin look and feel fantastic, and costs around £50. We stand by that post. It’s great. But we will repeat, it costs £50. And that may just be a little out of the price range of some people.
So, because we’re dedicated to our cause (which is bringing you the best, by the way), we have scoured the country to find similar products that may be more affordable for every day use. And by jove….I think we’ve got it.
Over the last few days, we’ve been testing the newly launched Match Perfection Gel Cream Foundation from Rimmel, and we are absolutely sold. The product has a super light, liquid gel texture that just glides over your skin, giving an even coverage and hiding any pesky blemishes. It’s designed to be totally invisible and weightless on the skin, so much so you forget you’re wearing make up at all. You look exactly like you. But a bit better. Got to be good, right?!
I have worn the foundation for the last two days and friends have said I look fresh and healthy – which is pretty impressive considering the late nights I have had this week. There are 5 shades available and as they’re so blendable, there should be one to match your natural colouring flawlessly; the classic beige is absolutely ideal for me.
As always with these things, there is science involved…involving sapphires and such…but as always I’m going to refer you to the website if you want to know about that (it’s a bit beyond me). All I know is that I like this foundation a lot – and I like the fact it’s only £6.99 (RRP) even more.
If you’re looking for a lightweight foundation that still gives excellent coverage and lasts hours – this is your baby.
