Selfridges is one of my favourite places in the world.
I can (and do) spend hours within these 4 vast walls. Mooching. Wandering. Eating. Wanting. Spending.
It’s my standard meeting place when catching up with friends. It’s my salvation when I’m sad and need some retail therapy. It’s my first port of call when I have a few quid to spend. And it has one of the most fabulous shoe halls in London (which is approximately 90% responsible for the lack of millions in my bank account).
Yesterday saw a new arrival to The Shoe Lounge, in the shape of a bespoke installation from architectural shoe designer, United Nude. Described as a “must-visit space for all shoe, fashion, art and design lovers”, all shoes will be for sale and while not every pair is my personal taste, I have fallen for the pairs below:
