I don’t often get excited about headphones..but then I have never heard of Urbanears. I mean really. Why did no one tell me about these earlier?
You know those god awful ipod headphones you get with your iPhone, iPod, iPad, iEverything. Well, as we all know the sound quality on those is total crap. This is no news for anyone. Plus you cant even really wear them. Have you ever tried running while wearing them? Impossible. However, if you don’t know what I am talking about, then you are not running fast enough. UGH! Anyway, I have a special talent of losing (leaving them on the tube, planes, the mini etc), breaking them and always getting them all tangled up. I buy expensive headphones and few weeks later they are gone.
I think I have cracked the equation. The headphones I have been buying have been on the expensive side, thinking that if they cost more I wont lose them. Fail. Kinda like buying expensive sunglasses and then hoping you wont sit on them in the car. FAIL! I cant believe that I haven’t thought about this earlier. Who would match your belt with your shoes and bag, when you can match your headphones to your jacket? This is where Urbanears enter the picture. I have a feeling my life has been changed as I know it.
Urbanears are going to change everything, and I mean it. Why buy headphones in black or white when you can pick any color you want? Seriously. They have three different models, Tanto - a proper 80′s throw back. Plattan - The “proper” headphones, classic and amazing. Yet, they fold for easy transport. The best thing is that they have another sound plug on the ear, so you can share your music with your friend. FIERCE! Medis are the inner ear version. Finally a pair that even I can wear with my weird ears. However, the best thing is..not the fact that they do three different models, but that they do them in all the frikin colors of the rainbow. Like seriously. “Ocean”, “Army” and “Chocolate” to name a few. 14 colors in total and here is how to make the most of them. Ladies, time to mix it up with Urbanears.

I would team these up with skinny jeans, tank top, bomber jacket and then either the Midis in red or Plattan in dark grey.
When not using the Plattan, hang them around your neck for some injection of uber coolness. LOVE IT.
Seriously. We need to start a revolution. Why hide your headphones, when you can add some color in your oufit with Urbanears.
Continuing on with the capes theme, I adore this one. Cape with a hood and military twist. What else could you ask for, really?
Team it up with a leggings, chunky boots and Tanto in army. Fabulously military 80′s feel. Total coolness. Again, dont squash them in your bag, hang them around your neck. Wear them proud. In fact, you could also team the cape with the yellow midis. Add some proper color to the look.

The snood is back. HURRAH! What better way to keep warm as the days get colder. I wasnt totally convinced about the snood when it first came out, but have now learned to adore it. My grey woolen one is the one thing that kept me warm at Xmas time in Finland when it was minus 27. (Thats an entire different story thou). This one is lush. Lovely finely woven with a vintage rose print. Wear it to add some romance (god or bad) (see what I did there, my little homage to GaGa) into your fall wardrobe. I do also have an alternative motive (as always). Imagine this, black straight leg trousers, black polo neck, denim military (again) jacket, the snood around your neck and then under it, peeking through the midis in pink or purple. Lovely. Splash of color. AMAZEBALLS even.
So there you have it. My new obsession, Urbanears.
Another good thing is that, the sound quality on these babies are pretty darn amazing. I have a proper hate relationship with crackly headphones.
Always feels like they are ruining my music. I have now had my Urbanears for few weeks and loving them. The sound quality is superior, my Plattan keep me totally unaware of the outside world when in the tube. I cant hear anything but whatever is playing on my itouch. They block the tube sound amazingly well. Very impressed. I have been walking around in town with them wrapped around my neck and people are not staring at my pecs (nice change), but their eyes are fixed to my neck. Few people have commented on how cool they look. Which is true. I aim to bring you the best I can find, and ladies and gents, headphones dont come any cooler than this.
