For the past few years, PUMA have been building an ever increasing reputation amongst the galacticos of Adidas and Nike. Despite being an historic sports brand that has famous links with Pele and other sporting greats, it is more recent times that their clothing has extended itself beyond sports apparel and delved, very successfully, into the fashion world. PUMA’s aim is to make it clear that they are not a one trick pony, and with their vintage range ever growing it’s clear they mean business. And now, with the release of their latest trainer the Fast Rider, they seem to have made a very bold statement of intent.
The Fast Rider used to be the ideal running, jogging or cross-country trainer, and now it returns as this summers hottest shoe. 
With a rubber ‘Federbein’ (German for ‘suspension strut’) sole, this is one hell of a comfortable shoe making it practical, stylish and all purpose. The design incorporates a lot of what you’d expect from a classic PUMA trainer with it’s archive look, while now being available in a wide range of colours to cater for all tastes. Could you wear them at a festival? Absolutely. What about a day out in London? I’d recommend it. And what about on a night out bar hopping through the West End? Yes, please do. These are the sort of trainers that you can expect to receive compliments for, admiring looks while you’re sitting on the tube or laid out in a park. Did I mention how comfortable they are?
