Belly Be Gone… #1 Box Yourself Fit!

As you know, I am on a quest to get rid of my belly. Obviously the knee jerk reaction is to go to the gym, so I dusted off my membership card, dug out my trainers from the back of the wardrobe and trotted on down to the gym with a big 2litre bottle of Evian. When I got there, I cycled a bit, did some weights and went for a swim, with only the teeniest bit of sweat appearing. I felt good, I felt refreshed and I would urge …

The English Gentleman: Where Art Thou?

The English Gentleman: Where Art Thou?

I like to consider myself a gentleman. An English Gentleman at that. I feel it’s only right to hold the door open for a lady (and gent to be fair), offer to pay the bill, and offer your coat should your partner be cold. But it seems that chivalry is dead, and that less and less women believe that the English Gentleman still exsists. A whopping 89% infact, according to a recent survey. However, half of the women surveyed considered their other half to be a gentleman. On this basis, …

Victoria Beckham AW10

Lovers of Victoria Beckham’s personal style will be delighted with her latest collection, which features a new take on the sculpted silhouettes and over-sized sunglasses that the singer-turned-designer has become known for. In keeping with her previous designs embellishment has been kept relatively simple, with Victoria looking instead to cut, fabric and bright injections of colour to create a collection of fun yet sophisticated dresses. I particularly like the bright red tunic, the flared skirt dress (I think Holly Golightly would be a fan of this one) and the metallic …

Fight that Frizz!

For any of you that have never seen me, I have rather curly hair. I would like to describe it as beach-babe wavy, but truth be told, more often than not, it just resembles a bird’s nest. I am someone who cannot shampoo her hair without adding a ton of conditioner afterwards. Each time I buy a new shampoo I have to buy two conditioners to last the same amount of time otherwise my hair becomes more than a little flyaway. However, when my hair cooperates it is really  great, …

Review: Macs Salon, Kilburn

It has been a couple of years since I had a back massage purely for pleasure. I’ve had numerous Physio’s poking and prodding at me, some deep tissue pummelling, but I had honestly forgotten how delightful it can be to have someone massage you for no other reason than to help you relax…
I visited Macs Salon on Kilburn High Road last week after a fairly long tube journey, and was pleased at how easy it was to find, perched on a corner opposite Tesco’s. The reception area was busy but …

Doodle Me This, Doodle Me That – Illustrations Anyone?

Doodle Me This, Doodle Me That – Illustrations Anyone?

As many of you will hopefully now know, I (Teeny Tiny) have my own events company, which I started from scratch. Now this isn’t a post to plug my own stuff, I would never do that. However, if you were interested the web page can be found by clicking here. The main reason I am writing this particular blog is to plug something else. Or rather, someone.
Part of the reason I have done so well with these endeavors is due to the fab logo the company has, which was kindly …

Books To Read This Summer

Books To Read This Summer

Whenever the seasons change people start thinking of books to read on the beach, so I have decided to jump on the band wagon and read through my list of literature (which I am behind on anyway) to help you decide what might interest you. But since the introduction of our male blogger, @The_Gent, I figure that it has to be more than just ‘Beach Reading’, or ‘Park Reading’, or ‘South Bank Reading’. Now that we are getting a more extensive male audience I feel I might have to include …
