I’m considering the environment this year and saving paper 
So I thought I’d send out my little Christmas Wish to you all here instead…I hope you don’t mind.
It’s hard to think that last Christmas I hadn’t even considered blogging. I had just collapsed again and had to give up work – spent most of my time alone, in pain, trying to find ways to stop the boredom and sadness.
When I started writing TLLWTL 6 months or so ago, it was nothing but a hobby. I didn’t realise for a moment the impact it would have.
Writing about my experiences made them easier to deal with somehow. Being able to write down how it felt, what was happening, helped me make sense of some things I would never have been able to cope with alone.
Now, things are a little brighter. Hospital visits are getting less regular. The pain is still present but I’m making progress. I’m looking to the future, making plans again, feeling stronger.
So I just wanted to say a little thank you to all of you who have read, commented, or been involved in my site in any way. You have cheered me up when things have been awful and made me laugh when I needed it. The support I have had from everyone has been amazing…and I am extremely grateful for everyone’s loveliness. I feel lucky to have made some great contacts, and even friends through TLLWTL and I just want you to know how much I appreciate you. I love reading your blogs and hearing your stories…you’re a funny, inspirational bunch.
So…thank you again for all your kind words, messages and ongoing all round niceness. I wish you the happiest Christmas ever, and hope that the New Year brings you all Love, Luck, and Good Health…we all deserve the best right?!
I have a feeling 2010 is going to be a very good one.
