My bestie and I got very, very drunk on Thursday night. Disgustingly, amusingly, falling off chairs drunk.
We were celebrating nothing other than the fact she had a long awaited night off work – she runs a few Italian restaurants – and we hadn’t had a drink in a while. It was fabulous, wonderful, brilliant – until yesterday, when I genuinely felt like I wanted to die.
Anyway, before the pain came a night of fun, giggles and lots of loud music. Some old, some new, and all that reminded us of good, bad, beautiful and ugly times we’ve shared over the years.
Here are some of the tracks that make up the soundtrack to me. They’re not in any particular order, but they all have a place etched in my memory, of a time, a place, a somebody….I hope you enjoy!
